RES Courtyards get a revamp and refresh
Every spring we plant fruits and vegetables in our front courtyard. In the summer, that food is harvested and shared with our custodial staff, summer programs, and our garden volunteers. In the fall, our students maintain the garden and harvest foods for their classmates.
Our back courtyard is also currently in the midst of a big refresh and our 2nd, 4th, and 5th grade students have researched native plants to attract insects, butterflies, bees, and birds. We're excited to work on this in the coming weeks as well as a new garden behind our library!
